We have a new position for a Nurse Practitioner to work in Main Line Healthcare’s Urgent Care System.

This is a 36 hour hour/week position with weekend and Holiday rotation requirements (three 12 hours shifts)

This position is based in Broomall PA but will rotate to Wynnewood, Exton and Concordville.

Responsibilities to include:

The role of the CRNP is central to the unit based multidisciplinary team in leading quality and evidence based care initiatives that will result in achieving optimal patient outcomes and improved patient satisfaction. The CRNP extends and expands the role of the physicians, enhances continuity of quality patient care and amplifies communication among all professional care givers, the patient and his/her family members.

Education/Licenses/Certifications for Nurse Practitioner:

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners as a Certified
• Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)
• Family Nurse Practitioner is required
• Participation in continuing education
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner in the State of Pennsylvania
• Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved

Experience:

• Prior clinical NP experience Required
• Prior Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience Required
• Occupational Health Experience Preferred
• Strong clinical knowledge required.
• Excellent organizational multitasking skills required.
• Working knowledge of managed care required.
