Vice President, Clinical Operations

As the VP of Clinical Operations, you are responsible for providing leadership in the development, planning, and oversight of the Main Line HealthCare office practice Clinical Operations.  This position will have responsibility for the day-to-day clinical operations of MLHC ambulatory practices. The individual shall be responsible for ensuring that non-provider physician support staff in practice sites will be organized around principles of quality enhancement, effective throughput, and enhanced levels of patient experience.

In this important work, you would be responsible for ensuring that non-provider physician support staff in practice sites will be organized around principles of quality enhancement, effective throughput, and enhanced levels of patient experience. 

• Establish or transform workflows for the clinical operations that support MLHC quality and team-based care initiatives. 

• Coordinate with Business Operations, Finance, Healthcare IT, and other relevant constituencies to ensure that all business functions of MLHC are directed towards the optimal delivery of services in MLHC ambulatory offices, while balanced with the budgetary limitations of the business. 

• Assure appropriate systematic monitoring and evaluation of the effective operational aspects of delivery of patient care for all practices, and for patient safety, patient satisfaction and continuous improvement in those clinical measures reported to external agencies.

Education: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing, business administration, healthcare management, or related field (Required) 

• Master’s Degree in business administration or healthcare management (Preferred) 

Experience: 

• 5 years of experience in a physician group practice management or related field (Required) 

• Epic Experience (preferred) 

• Analytical Skills 

• Customer Service Skills 

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Word) 

• Medical Terminology
