- Make an Impact! As the Manager of Strategic and Service Line Planning, you would serve as a senior role on the Business Development team and would be responsible to lead service line planning for at least two to three major clinical service lines. This would be in addition to managing a business platform such as inpatient, outpatient and/or virtual care. You would be responsible for strategic planning for the service line, service line analytics and development of business plans for their areas of focus.
As a senior member of the Business Development team, you will provide support in the development of the enterprise-wide strategic plan and annual action plans. You would also provide oversight for the development of analytics and intelligence reporting including:
- Market share
Health care utilization
- Physician need
- Health status
Patient origin trends
Physician splitter activity
- Competitor activity
- Demographics
- Volume forecasts
- Regulatory issues.
The Manager will provide end-to- project management support to business development initiatives to ensure they advance in a timely manner and are successfully executed.

Position: Strategic & Service Line Planning Manager
Education:
Master’s Degree in Health Administration, MPH or MBA with a health care industry focus.
Experience:
Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience within planning or finance at a health system, provider organization, payor or health care consulting firm. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
Strategic thinker with demonstrated experience managing a portfolio of projects
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to persuade, communicate and collaboratively effectively within a diverse organization;
Skilled facilitator and presenter with the ability to influence decision-making and a willingness to advocate for new ideas and change
Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights
Deep knowledge of the healthcare industry and demonstrated success in a planning role in a healthcare organization.
Project management experience
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver excellent work products to our departmental customers in a timely manner
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and Tableau
