- Make an Impact! Hospice care continues even after the day turns to night. The After Hours Hospice Nurses provide the support and reassurance that care will continue no matter what time it is. You will address the needs of the Hospice, Palliative, and Home Health program by triaging calls from patients, caregivers, and physicians to identify the need for in-home or telephone intervention. You will provide direct patient care including physical, psychosocial, or spiritual support and education of both patient and families..

Position: Registered Nurse RN - Hospice After Hours
Shift: Evenings & Nights (5pm - 8:30am)
Experience:
2 year(s) of recent Nursing experience in med-surgical, acute or long term care setting, rehabilitation, home care, or hospice setting preferred.
Education:
1. Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
2. RN Diploma, ASN required; BSN preferred.
Licensures/Certifications:
1. Current license to practice nursing in Pennsylvania.
2. Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
3. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required..
3. Certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing preferred.
Requirements:
This position requires you to wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.
