Staff Nurse - Endoscopy, Riddle

The Registered Professional Staff Nurse integrates the practice of nursing through the implementation of the nursing process, in assessing and rendering physiological and psychological care for patients. Critical thinking and compassionate approach are combined within a framework of partnership as reflected in the Main Line Health Professional Practice Model. Utilizing knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of these patients, the Staff Nurse demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age appropriate care. The Staff Nurse demonstrates competence n evidence based nursing practice, making clinical decisions using the best available research evidence, clinical expertise and patient preference. The Staff Nurse engages in clinical, departmental, and shared decision-making initiatives, resulting in a culture of safety and a superior patient experience. The Staff Nurse identifies each patient�s requirements in accordance with professional practice standards as set forth by the American Nurses Association, PA Nurse Practice Act, regulatory standards and MLH policies and procedures. Consider MLHS mission, vision and care. Include culture of safety, DR and I and the superior patient experience. Education: Graduation from a school of professional nursing. Diploma, Associate Degree, or BSN Degree. BSN Degree preferred. Licensures & Certifications: A current PA RN license. ACLS/PALS/NRP for Non-Nurse Residents: If required for job (unless you don�t have that specialty experience), certification must be current on start date Healthcare Provider Current CPR is required on hire Certification in specialty area desired. Experience: Unit-specific. Prior staff nurse experience preferred. Ability to communicate proficiently in English to perform job duties.
