We are looking for a Senior Aruba ClearPass Specialist who wants to get involved with a medium sized, fast paced, and dynamic healthcare company. Position: Sr. Network Engineer
Location: Hybrid (1-3 times on-site per month)
 

What You’ll Do:

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Multi-Vendor-based security solutions. In this role, you will assist customers with high-level and detailed design, implementation, operations, troubleshooting and issue resolution. You will develop documentation as it relates to project requirements and troubleshooting. The right candidate will be a positive and supportive member of the IT team, a self-starter and love the challenge of solving problems.

• Serve as the SME for Clearpass NAC
• Function as a Tier-2/3 escalation point for CPPM related issues
• Monitor, analyze, and report metrics
• Document CPPM infrastructure components and develop run books for helpdesk and NOC
• Must be able to work occasional weekends, after hours, and holidays
• Participate in on call rotation

What You’ll Bring:

• 6+ years’ experience with Aruba ClearPass.
• Extensive experience in AOS, 802.1x, RADIUS, policy features, PKI certificates, wired and wireless NAC, CPPM server configuration, captive portal, and integration with NGFW.
• Experience level knowledge of IP networking, L2/L3 network protocols, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing, SNMP, and QOS
• Experience with developing scripts to automate infrastructure deployment and collect metrics a plus
• Preferred Aruba Certified ClearPass Professional (ACCP)
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
• Excellent organizational skills and solid team player
• Solid analytical skills to troubleshoot high level, complex technical problems
• Excellent verbal, written, and communication
• Maintain a high degree of professionalism and integrity

Preferred Background

• Solid, demonstrated wireless background (understand how WLAN controllers work – preferably Aruba)
• Solid, demonstrated route/switch background (Cisco 9K, 7K and 9300)
• Experience with PKI and Certificate Authority
• Network Security Experience with firewall exposures, specifically Palo Alto
• Working toward or having achieved CISSP or equivalent certification
• Certifications in multiple technology areas are a significant plus

Experience:
If Bachelors prepared: 5 years related experience required.
If Associates prepared: 8 years of related experience may be considered.

Education:
1. Bachelor of Science degree in appropriate area, or certified equivalent experience.
2. Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills (written and verbal) required.

Licensures/Certifications:
1. CCNP
2. MCSE
