- Make an Impact! Our RNFA’s are highly respected for their role in the Operating Room! As an RNFA, you would serve as the Surgical First Assistant by directly assisting the surgeon with positioning, prepping and draping the patient, controlling bleeding, providing wound exposure, suturing, mobilizing tissue, and directing other surgical staff. Specialties include but are not limited to: General, Urology, Orthopedics, Neuro, Plastics, Vascular, Robotics, etc.
- Paoli Operating Room Highlights include:
- Paoli is recognized as High Performing in a variety of specialties, with regards to the OR, they include: pulmonary and lung surgery, abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, spinal fusion, hip fracture, kidney failure and knee replacements. We are also investing in a New Neurointerventional Program that will advance neurological care and neurosurgical services across our region.
- Our Operating Room features the latest da Vinci Surgical System’s robotic technology.
- Accreditations include: Blue Distinction Center for hip and knee replacement
- We performed 7,101 total surgeries in FY21

Schedule:
36 hours, 7am – 7:30pm with on call rotation
Experience:
At least three (3) years of experience in perioperative nursing practice as both scrub and circulator.
Education:
1. RN Diploma, ASN required; BSN preferred.
2. Completion of a recognized RNFA Program (proof of verification required).
Licensures/Certifications:
1. PA RN license.
2. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
3. ACLS required.
4. CNOR Certification.
