Position: Revenue Recognition Specialist
Shift: Days

Experience:
1. 5-7 years of experience in Finance or Accounting with at least 3 years in the healthcare industry.

2. Previous net revenue estimation experience in both private insurance and governmental reimbursement, as well as Medicare and Medicaid cost reporting, and financial analysis experience

3. Advanced knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, general accounting principles, patient accounting and billing, and contract management. 

4. Ability to analyze and interpret data and prepare concise and accurate financial reports, including annual Medicare and Medicaid cost reports. Working knowledge of Graduate Medical Education, Organ Acquisition/Transplantation, and Disproportionate Share reporting, is preferred.

5. Ability to understand, develop, and enhance computer spreadsheet applications, with proficiency in Excel

6. Experience with PeopleSoft Financials, EPIC and cost reporting software preferred


Education:
Bachelor’s Degree with major in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
