Position: Laboratory Assistant
Shifts Available:
*1st shift 8 hour shifts between 6:45am - 6:00pm Monday thru Friday with a required every other weekend rotation. Weekend Rotation is based on unit needs. Saturday rotation will be 7:00am– 12:00 Noon
*2nd shift Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm Weekend Rotation is based on unit needs
*3rd shift Monday-Friday 11:00pm-7:30am Weekend Rotation is based on unit needs
Training is on 1st shift 7:00AM-3:30PM Monday -Friday for 6-8 weeks. Training schedule is subject to change as training progresses.
This position requires you to wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.
Experience:
Minimum one year related working experience in an anatomic or clinical laboratory
Knowledge of medical terminology
Working knowledge of medical information systems is preferred
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Licensures/Certifications:
Certification as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist is preferred
