Main Line Health’s Women’s Specialty Center in King of Prussia will focus on the distinct preventive, diagnostic and treatment needs of women. The center, in collaboration with Axia Women’s Health, will address women’s physical, emotional and wellness needs in a seamless, coordinated manner embedded within a warm, healing environment.
Program Specialist, Community Health
Under the direction of the Director, Community Services (BMH), or the Associate Administrator (LMC), this position researches, develops, plans and implements community based health screening and prevention programs. May include injury prevention programs (Lankenau Medical Center).
Education/Experience: A minimum of five years experience in providing community health education with at least two years at a program development/planning or management level. A Bachelors degree in Public Health or Health Education with a concentration in community health education or completion of an accredited Nursing Program is required.
Licensures & Certifications: PA Nursing or other professional license as appropriate Drivers License Other: Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
Some weekend or evening work required. Must have own transportation.
