Main Line HealthCare is seeking a dynamic Nurse Practitioner to join their Primary Care/ Internal Medicine Practice located in Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, PA.

This is a fulltime permanent 40-hour per week position for Day shift. The Nurse Practitioner will be working with Main Line HealthCare’s Internal Medicine board certified physicians and providers specialize in disease prevention, diabetes management and training, vaccinations and physicals required for employment, school and yearly health maintenance. Working with several Main Line Health specialists' offices, they provide the most comprehensive care for the patient’s needs. Many of their patients have been with this practice for more than 10 years. This group provides care with consistent quality and compassion.

While functioning in the expanded role as a professional nurse, the NP performs acts of medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective measures in collaboration with attending physicians. As an advanced practice nurse, the NP role involves independent judgement and decision-making as well as consultation and collaboration with other members of the health care team. The NP shall enhance the continuity of quality patient care; amplify communication between the physician, family members and the health care team; and extend the capabilities of the medical care team.

Education/Licenses/Certifications:

Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)
Participation in continuing education
BLS certification
ACLS certification
Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner in the State of Pennsylvania
Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved

Experience:

2 years Nurse Practitioner experience preferred
A minimum of two years nursing experience in specific clinical area
Must have strong written and verbal skills of the English language
