As a Main Line Health Nurse Manager, you will:

  • Guide & Support Your Unit.  Your leadership makes the difference! As the Family Centered Maternity Unit Nurse Manager, you would oversee 12 Labor & Delivery rooms, 7 NICU beds, and 28 post-partum beds in a busy Level II trauma hospital. Totaling approximately 2,000 births per year, this unit has approximately 92 staff members, 74 of them being Registered Nurses. You would lead your team in providing the highest level of care while garnering a constant focus on patient safety. The unit is Keystone 10 Initiative, with the support of 3 Lactation Consultants staffed on the unit. The Level II NICU has an affiliation with Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) physicians who partner with Main Line Health in caring for the neonates.

What we are looking for:

Experience:

1. 3-5 years of clinical experience in Labor & Delivery or Mother-Baby Postpartum Care.

2. 3-5 years of prior management, supervisor, charge, coordinator, or other related leadership experience required.

Education:
1. BSN preferred, other related Bachelors Degree or pursuing required.

2. MSN or other related Masters Degree highly preferred.

Licensures/Certifications
1. PA RN license and Heartsaver/BLS card.

2. Specialty certification or Leadership certification (NEA-BC, NE-BC) desired.
