Nurse Extern - GP
The Nurse Extern will perform specific nursing-related and diagnostic duties in providing for the personal care and comfort of patients ranging in age from infant to geriatric. The Nurse Extern will work in a structured environment under the supervision of a registered nurse. EDUCATION: Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English. LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, REGISTRATION: BLS Healthcare Provider required upon hire EXPERIENCE: Previous experience in delivery of patient services required. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Successful completion of PCT training course evidenced by test grade of 80% or better. Ability to perform basic math skills. Must have completed one hands on clinical in nursing school. Completed skills checklist provided by MLH signed off by nursing school faculty member.
