The position requires you to performs record review to ensure Patient Safety Indicators (PSIs) are accurately documented and possess extensive knowledge of DRG structure and coding guidelines. An ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to prepare and analyze quality and financial reports and have an understanding of legal and compliance issues and they pertain to clinical documentation. You will also need to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and present information to clinical end users and use your critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently.

Position: Manager, Document Quality and Education
Shift: Day shift, 40 hours per week Monday through Friday and will be primarily a REMOTE position.
Experience:
Minimum five years of progressive coding or CDI experience. Working knowledge of DRG's and clinical conditions impacting quality outcomes is required. Previous experience training clinicians is preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree required
Licensures/Certifications:
CCS and CDIS certification required (if candidate has 1 out of the 2 certifications, the certification needed will be required within 12 months of hire date)
