As the System Manager of Blood Bank, you will be responsible for system-wide oversight of all administrative and technical operations of the transfusion medicine laboratory sections within the Main Line Health Laboratories (MLHL). You will oversee the development and implementation of the Blood Bank’s operational plans and programs and regulatory action on operational performance.

The leadership team focuses a lot of time and effort on patient safety, quality management and employee satisfaction. Having the support of the executive level allows us to try new ideas to advance in these areas. Ultimately, as the System Manager of Blood Bank, you are an integral member of system strategic planning & development and instrumental in guiding staff through change and maintaining and managing the quality control and quality assurance programs across the system.

Shift: 8:00AM-5:00PM
Experience:
1. Minimum of 5+ years of administrative/management experience is preferred.
2. Competently perform blood bank procedures to assist in providing transfusion services, including computer and information technology.
3. Communicate strategy and effectively move an initiative system wide
Education:
1. Bachelor of Science or equivalent is required.
2. Master's Degree in health related field is preferred.
Licensures/Certifications:
Specialist in Blood Bank Technology (SBB) is highly preferred
