Make an Impact! Work with the Executive Director of Development of the Foundation, the President of Bryn Mawr Hospital, trustees of the Foundation, members of the Major Gifts Committee, Hospital physicians and others, to plan, design, implement, guide and manage the identification, cultivation and solicitation of major gift prospects. Create and implement plans, strategies and actions to identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit and steward prospects and donors.

Position: Director of Development
Shift: Full Time position, occasional evening and weekends as needed. Must be able to travel locally. This is a Hybrid position.
Education: Four-year college degree. Strong academic credentials with a real-world orientation that is credible to donors.
Experience:
Ten or more years of progressively responsible experience within an academic and/or healthcare environment, to include a thorough knowledge of development principles and success in managing major and planned gifts programs and in closing such gifts.
Proven track record of designing and implementing major gift campaign and /or capital and/or special campaigns.
Knowledge of healthcare culture and healthcare fundraising and Main Line Health hospitals.
Strong solicitation skills with history of successful identification, cultivation and solicitation of high net worth individuals.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-starter, highly motivated with a sense of urgency and determination to reach goals.
Bottom-line oriented, with respect for process and ability to work constructively with colleagues to achieve fundraising goals.
